Church Leaders' Forum

The Bolton Church Leaders’ Forum is the representative body on the Local Strategic Partnership for the work done in over 150 Christian churches in Bolton. It also manages the Bolton Christian Community Cohesion initiative in partnership with Bolton Council.

To the onlooker, the church may look like a largely Sunday morning activity, but the reality is very different.

Harnessing the resources of buildings and people, voluntary Christian groups are energetically engaged in many aspects of community life. They provide activities for young people, care for the elderly and support for many less advantaged members of society. They often reach out beyond their local communities to help the homeless and give assistance to asylum seekers.
