Bolton Community College is a substantial player in the Bolton area, delivering learning to individuals and employers across the town.

Bolton Community College offers courses on a full time and part time basis in a variety of subject areas. Many of these lead to recognised qualifications including the highly successful Apprenticeship Programme for young people.
The College has a dedicated Business Development team to help employers identify how skills can improve their bottom line. The training offered at the College includes customer care, leadership and management, finance, business administration and information technology.
The quality of the College was endorsed by its recent Ofsted Inspection that rated its capacity to improve as Outstanding. The College continues to build on its successes and has recently been awarded CoVE (Centre of Vocational Excellence) status for its Construction and Health and Social Care provision.
The College is represented on the Vision Steering Group and the Skills Partnership Board of the Local Strategic Partnership.
