Bolton Primary Care Trust
Bolton Primary Care Trust (PCT) is part of the NHS and is responsible for:
- improving the health of all people in Bolton;
- commissioning health services;
- providing health services which are mostly delivered in local centres.
The Primary Care Trust is an active partner in the Vision Partnership, taking a leading role on health issues and chairing the Health and Well Being Partnership.
We employ around 1500 staff and have an annual budget of nearly £400 million.

To commission and provide excellent health services that are built around the patient, and to develop and deliver effective community based approaches to keeping people healthy.
